Rhos Young peoples Centre

Ysgol Y Grango has strong links with the local Youth service and their is a youth worker based in grango who can be consulted for advice. Also Grango lets the local youth club use the building for meetings.

PURPOSE OF RHOS YOUNG PEOPLES’ CENTRE

“We aim to provide a safe, supportive, informative, accessible and challenging environment for all young people between the ages of 11-21 years. A place where young people can participate fully in social and personal issues that affect their lives through a process that is freely chosen, challenging and fun. “We believe that relationships are the fulcrum of the work and are, wherever possible based on mutual respect, trust, honesty and equality”.

Rhos Young Peoples’ Centre is a facility for all young people to use. It needs to be a safe and healthy place for all young people, workers and visitors. To ensure this happens, we do have certain ground rules for all those who use or visit  the centre. Copies of these ground rules are available in the centre or you can get a copy from any of the youth workers or members of the committee.
